👋 Hello! My name is
Based in Seattle, WA, I am a seasoned UX designer, product manager, and startup veteran with robust experience in user research, interface design, and product leadership. I’m leveraging my unique background in human values, ontology, and social psychology and my interests in tech, industrial design, art, philosophy, and the creative world to gain detailed understanding of user needs, tackle complex problems, and create delightful products.
From 2019-2022 I was the lead designer and team lead for cross-platform digital products at ILWE.io, wearing lots of hats to save on haircuts. Over 36 months our small scrappy team raised a pre-seed round, brought to life a web app, and released two mobile apps aimed at empowering and connecting the next generation of 'bedroom creatives.' After we closed shop, I moved to Seattle and spent time consulting as a freelance UX designer and product strategist. During that time I helped the founders of Knomee refine, develop, and prototype their vision, which allowed them to raise an initial $300,000 pre-seed fund. In July 2023, I joined inquirED as their first UX/UI designer, where I'm making strides in organizing our design system with Figma and in bringing accessibility to the forefront of our curriculum platform for teachers.

A customizable sensory therapeutic toy for people with Autism with heightened sensory input. TactTiles is a box with magnetic, detachable tile sides, each with a different texture or dynamic interactive component. Users can choose which textures to attach to the sides based on their preferences, and store the others inside the box.

I draw every day to improve my sketching, illustrating, and animating skills. I draw to express myself and to communicate. I draw to capture beauty. Drawing develops my understanding of shape, form, and aesthetic, and aids and informs every part of my design practice.
